Weymouth is an ideal resort for a family to go and see when considering a vacation. It has a extensive choice of attractions and the beautiful beaches and surrounding area make it a fabulous place to have a break as well as have fun.
There is a variety of accommodation available including hotels, guest houses, Bed and Breakfast, as well as a choice of self-catering properties based on your budget of course.
Weymouth is not only sea and sand and has plenty to offer people no matter what your interests. There are various sorts of water sports for the more adventurous types to try out and Weymouth and nearby Portland Harbour have become magnets for windsurfers and dinghy sailors because of the perfect wind conditions these coastlines provide.
Windsurfing of course, is not everybody’s thing and you may want to do something far more soothing. Fishing is a very popular activity and the area is renowned as a prime site for people who adore this pastime. You can fish directly from the pier, or book a trip on one of the many boats that will take you further out to sea where you can have a go at some deep sea fishing if you would like to.
